On Friday, March 16th, we met up with the incredibly talented Whitney Fenimore (That’s right – the one from The Voice.) to talk all things SXSW in the middle of 6th St. at SXSW. Her bubbly personality overtook the interview, and we fast found ourselves yearning to be her best friend.
But alas, not all pipe dreams come true. One thing is for sure… she is one to really look out for. We feel some big things coming.
On a balmy 88 degree day, with direct sunlight beating down on us, the ever-extraordinary Elle Exxe sat down to do a quick interview and portrait session with us. You can check out the interview and a few of our favorite shots from that day below!
On Friday, March 16th, we caught up with the guys from Marmalakes on the streets of Austin, Texas during the SXSW madness to take some photos and do a fun little interview. Check out some of the photos below, interview to come!
SXSW 2018 was absolute insanity. We caught up with the infinitely amazing – and beautifully decorated – band Gold Casio on Friday, March 16th, for a quick portrait session. (Did we mention it was in a back alley?) Here are some fun photos from that, with more on the band to come!
Damn near close to the crack of dawn on Monday, March 13th, we found ourselves on our way into downtown Austin. One member of our party was extremely jazzed about going to see John Cena speak at an official panel for SXSW. Unbeknownst to us, that hour of time would convert us into real fans of the Cena empire – something we cared little for previously. After all, big muscles and rough ‘n tumble WWE nights are not our main calling. But that panel opened our eyes to the type of conscientious, kind, and practical businessman he really, truly is. And we think we could all take a lesson or two out of his book. So here is the panel in its entirety, courtesy of SXSW.
As the #5 artist on BBC Sound of 2018, Pale Waves shows no signs of stopping as they dropped their digital EP All The Things I Never Said. Listening to their EP felt slightly reminiscent of Group Love, with their energetic and pop like style. Their first track “New Year’s Eve” is an honest plea of “New Year, New Me” with lyrics like “I don’t want to be in love on New Year’s Eve, do you even want to be with me?” However, I seemingly relate with “My Obsession”, a true tale ones (unhealthy) infatuation with someone they shouldn’t probably be with. Listen to the new EP All The Things I Never Said below.
Also, look out for Pale Waves as they are set to perform at SXSW in March.
