Soothing, well-crafted, and moving. That’s what Sammy Strittmatter’s brand new track, “When She Sleeps” is. This new song will appear on Stritmatter’s upcoming record, Get Out of the City, dropping May 18 via Palo Santo Records. The Texas-bred, L.A.-based artist has clearly honed his craft, and it shines in “When She Sleeps”. This track is heaven for anyone needing some great acoustic guitar in their life. The chords perfectly accompany the confident yet soft vocals.
Says Strittmatter of his new track:
I first tracked this song while living in Arlington, TX. For about five years, I lived in a house that was built in 1916 for the Mayor. It was the first house built in the South Center Street Historic District. The house was all wood, so it had amazing acoustics in every room. Also, it had this stunningly tall stairwell, and I would place microphones at the very bottom, top, and in between, capturing a unique natural reverb. It was an inspiring place to think and create, which led to me writing the guitar part for this song.
“When She Sleeps” is not a track you’ll want to miss out on, so give it a listen today.

Need to forget about your worries? We’ve got just the song for you. Molly Moore has just released her brand new track, “No Stress”, which appears on her upcoming EP, Third Eye High. The L.A. singer-songwriter has worked as a solo artist, a member of Cosmos & Creature, and has written for the likes of Lea Michele, EXO, and Jesse McCartney. Moore’s new track is just as the title suggests: easygoing, stress-free, and laid back. Splashes of electronica on a pop canvas make for a delightfully fun yet relatable track.
Says Moore: “Self reflection can be hard, especially in a time when everyone wants to filter the best part of their story/image forward, but I try and find power in confronting the less comfortable things. Dealing with human emotions isn’t always easy but I do think that we innately want to help each other. I want my music to leave people with hope amidst the ‘reality’ we are faced with.”
Moore does a fantastic job of appealing to the tension that we all face in daily life, providing a temporary escape with “No Stress”.

Californian singer-songwriter Chris Lambert is gearing up to release his brand new record, The Constant Education of Christopher Lambert on May 9. The indie folk album is the eleventh full-length release by Lambert, and features “Right”, a charming and well-crafted track that is both introspective and relatable.
Says Lambert, “I spent a couple of years doing a deep dive into my past, figuring out a bunch of things that had been left unresolved or unspoken for too long. Once I got that stuff out on the last album, I felt like I could finally start focusing on day to day things. I realized that it’s harder than it seems, to not dwell on the past or worry about the future.”
“Right” shows the maturity that Lambert has reached, not only as an artist, but also as a human. The acoustic track pairs insightful lyricism with a gentle yet purposeful melody. While the track involves self-conversation, many listeners can put themselves in Christopher’s shoes. It’s different yet familiar, and a refreshingly authentic track.

You haven’t experienced anything like this. Florida-born, Los Angeles-based No Name Hotel is about to drop his debut EP, Tristan, on May 4. No Name Hotel (the musical pseudonym of Farahd Abdullah Wallizada) has been involved with music his whole life, but Tristan will be his first ‘official’ release. Featured on Tristan is No Name Hotel’s “Blood On Sky”, a brooding, searching track that lays down the thematic landscape of the EP. A unique track that is comprised of a two-way internal musical conversation, “Blood On Sky” brings to the surface many thoughts and feelings that we hide away: anxieties, insecurities, self-doubts.

Tellers have just dropped their brand new track, “Walking Blind”, and we’ve got the exclusive premiere. Masterfully layered vocals, guitar, and percussion combine for a song that will give you goosebumps. The Washington-based four piece, composed of Sarah Feinberg, Brad Heyne, Isaac Melum, and Tyler Chism, is gearing up to release their new LP Shook. If the title of their record is any indication, Tellers knows how to blow listeners out of the water, and “Walking Blind” is no exception. The new track evidences the careful composition of Tellers, and their ability to balance lyricism with instrumentation.
Says lead vocalist/guitarist Sarah Feinberg of the new track:
I wrote “Walking Blind” about hitting an impasse in a relationship that was worth fighting for. Being faced with the tough reality that it may not work out in the end we were still making the seemingly blind choice to keep going in hopes that we would find our way wavering on the edge of unraveling.
“Walking Blind” takes the listener on an auditory journey that is simultaneously new and familiar, haunting and comforting. It’s not one you’ll want to miss.

Toronto bred, L.A. based Alexander Vincent is about to drop his brand new debut single, “I Won’t”. Following four years as the drummer for Magic!, Alexander (aka Alex Tanas) has also established himself as a producer. Now, Alexander is able to put his own sound out, including his first track, “I Won’t”.
Says Alexander on where he’s at now:
My favorite word right now is ‘vulnerable’. You just have to open yourself up, and a lot of us are just closed down. When you’re open to your emotions, when you’re crying to a pop song, there’s actually something very mature about that. Being vulnerable means challenging yourself to connect with something deeper. Saying ‘yes’ means really opening yourself up, to musicality, to a more profound experience.
His new track is the culmination of this vulnerability. “I Won’t” combines the gently delivered hard-hitting lyrics. With Alexander’s versatility as a drummer, producer, and singer, he’s able to bring the best aspects of all his talents to the table.
Alexander hopes the future will bring an LP (including “I Won’t”), and we hope so too.
