Pop artist NoMBe creates soul-tinged electric tracks that keep us on our toes. We were so thrilled by his full-length release last spring (They Might’ve Even Loved Me…), that we had been chomping at the bit a tad more than usual for this new single. Luckily, “Paint California” is out now, and provides the right vibe for a relaxing autumn afternoon, enjoying the crisp air with friends. The first single from his upcoming sophomore release, “Paint California” is a smooth track with just the right amount of throwback feel.

Raise your hand if you’ve also been waiting with bated breath for an update from the HINDS camp. The collective — a foursome that hails from Madrid — has been creating fun, pop-tinged tunes to bop to for quite some time, but this is their first release of 2019 and we are 100% here for it. Hazy, dreamy, fun — as always — with a bit of edge and a real affinity for making life sound adventurous.
Check out the track below, and don’t forget to let us know what you think over on Facebook!

It’s been quite the year for powerful female vocalists. We’re totally on board, and it doesn’t look like a trend that is going to let up anytime soon. Take fresh Norwegian songstress HALIE, for example, with her new track “Circling”. Equal parts mysterious and beautiful, this song really takes you to a dark, oftentimes emotional, place. Her immense talent is palpable, as she is just gaining her footing in the industry. This song is simply one of a handful of singles she has released in the past. Let HALIE’s vocals put you in a trance today by putting the track below on repeat.

KP Wolfe introduced herself to the world this week as a vocal powerhouse with the music video for her single “Take Back The Ring”. Grit pours from her lips as she energetically sings about heartbreak. The video itself is pure drama, shot in low light gorgeousness. Equal parts attitude and natural beauty, the song itself is highly relatable. The next breakup anthem, perhaps?
We’ll be belting out “Take Back The Ring” for the rest of the day.

The title and theme of this playlist is “Harmonious Funk”. Yadira’s love for harmony fuels the songwriting of The Vapor Caves and BoomBaptist’s deep love for funk is a driving force in the production. We chose these songs with this combination in mind.

New release “Noodle” from up-and-coming project Oscar Louis totters whimsically between resignation and acceptance. The solo venture of Canadian singer-songwriter Oren Lefkowitz, Oscar Louis blends blog era hip hop with detached chillwave, presenting a placid, steady head-nodder.
While Lefkowitz has explained that “Noodle” touches on tensions between Louis and his father, it stays light, with Lefkowitz’s raspy hum meandering through hip-hop verses over a minimalistic backdrop. Lefkowitz describes the conflict, explaining,
“I began writing “Noodle” after getting into a bad fight with my dad. I had just gotten really drunk at my cousin’s wedding, and ended up puking in front of my parents. This incident opened up a tricky scab rooted in my father’s disapproval of me and my decision to pursue music. “Noodle” is my attempt to show him love regardless.”
“Noodle” is Lefkowitz’s third single, following “Your Call is Important to Us” and “Find a Way,” both released earlier this year. His work has been featured on several Spotify playlists.
