Natie is already an established musician in her own right, but her new EP just dropped. So being able to celebrate that by partnering for Cancelled Plans Music Festival was kind of a perfect fit, and was also the most exhilarating experience. Natie, you are a force. Love on her and send her tips, my friends!
NONA always shows up and always brings optimism to our take on music. Multi-instrumentalist Michael Goldman somehow juggles so many projects, but every time he circles back to the solo moniker he creates under, his nuanced writing impresses and puts us in a good mood. Feel free to tip him here!
Creature Comfort had one of the top lighting setups of the Cancelled Plans Music Fest, and was quite the charmer from Jessey’s bedroom. We had fun with this one, and we know you will too. Be sure to donate here!

Incredible Folk/Americana collective Satin Nickel was not to miss at Cancelled Plans Music Festival 2020. We were transfixed. See why for yourself below!
We love Bandits on The Run so much and we were incredibly thrilled when they decided to play our Cancelled Plans Music Fest last Friday! They nabbed two time slots and entertained the masses. Legitimately, this is the trio I look forward to releases from the most and I KNOW we had some tips their way that evening.
If you didn’t get it before, now you do. You’re welcome.
If the title isn’t enough to entice you (the full version is “Eating Ass 2020”), perhaps Wwoman‘s silky smooth vocals and light as a feather soundscapes will give you reason. As artist and musician g smee’s one-man project, wwoman delivers a well-thought out track for us to enjoy during social distancing. Admits the artist, “It’s a remake of the first track I ever recorded, ‘EA2020’ is a redemption track. A therapist once told me my problem is that I can’t settle for good when better exists.”
While many of us are spending more time with our own idiosyncrasies, he bares it all in his music. The lyrics are also strangely relatable right now, addressing loneliness like 2020 was made for it.
Just by yourself everyday
And you never wanted
And you never wanted
You never want it that way
Take the simplistic nature of the lyrics as you will, but we’re totally here for the vibes of the track. Thank you, Wwoman.
Thin Lear did a SXSW Takeover for us back in March, and then decided he was in for an encore during Cancelled Plans Music Festival 2020. We absolutely love this man, and are thrilled that he has shared his talents again. If you missed the performance, peep it below. Again and again and again.
Sharif Mekawy of Looms serenaded us in the early hours of Cancelled Plans Music Festival 2020 on April 17. We’re smitten, and think you will be too. If you haven’t seen it, check it out below. If you have, you know it’s time for a repeat.
