The day after Thanksgiving was pretty thrilling, as it saw Swedish producer Kasbo and his cohorts entering city limits to play The Truman. We were thrilled by the lineup – which included Vancouver Sleep Clinic and Longer Days – as the night dissolved into a chaotic blur shortly after he took the stage. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
On Wednesday, November 21st, AWOLNATION played their final performance of 2018. It was the last date of the North American leg of Twenty Øne Pilots’ tour, and Aaron and the guys have been opening the show with great energy and ease each evening to sold out arenas all over our fine nation. We were lucky enough to get to witness the madness, some photos below!
Everyone’s new favorite supergroup is Boygenius, the (no less than) GENIUS collaboration between incredible songstresses Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus. We were lucky enough to have photographer Christie McMenamin on the ground for their show at Brooklyn Steel on November 7th. Peep those photos below!
On Tuesday, November 6th, Gary Clark Jr. distracted crowds of voters (and otherwise) at the Uptown Theatre in Kansas City, Missouri. Photographer Mike Gunnoe was on-site to capture the magnificence for us.
On Halloween night, the place to be was The Truman in Kansas City, MO. Tank and The Bangas entertained a raucous crowd with their incredible stage performance. Zaria Dukes captured the madness for us, and we can’t stop smiling.
Austin rockers The Schisms delighted the crowd at The Brick in Kansas City on October 27th. Along with Cortége, they’re in the middle of a 15-show tour, “It Came from Austin.”
