Los Angeles-based pop/soul songstress Jenna Lotti hits the week full force with her latest track “Better In The Morning”, which was released on Friday. The song itself captures feelings of doubt and fear in life-changing situations, echoing Lotti’s thoughts while making a cross country move with her husband last year. Gorgeously composed, the track edges on ethereal with strong, confident vocals that still somehow feel delicate and wonderful. It’s exactly what we need on this bright, wonderful day to keep us leaping into situations with confidence. {{GO VOTE!}}

Just in time for Election Day (GO VOTE!), Santa Monica-based singer/songwriter Mason Summit has released his tantalizing new track “Thoughts & Prayers”. A bit tongue in cheek as it were, the percussion is standout as it leads you into a song that will make your hips sway. His smoky, gorgeous vocals dance over a soundscape that plays with tempo in an alluring way. The instrumentals themselves set the tone for a picture perfect autumn evening, though the lyrics will definitely make you swoon even more if you’re a little perturbed at our current political situation.

Having captured the imaginations of listeners this year with a string of quality singles, including the massive “Feel Alright” and “Whatever You Do Like,” both tracks clocking in at just over 8 million streams on Spotify alone, Haneri is back with her third release of 2018 in the form of “Real Love.”

Haneri pairs her classy vocals with a mellow, down-tempo production which helpfully showcase her incredible range as a singer. Musically it’s stripped back and low key, “Real Love” has a dreamy warmth which is sure to endear listeners to her music even more. She is sure to have a strong 2019, too.

Today, Berlin-based alternative indie pop quartet The Flavians – comprised of Liam Blomqvist, Anna Vaverková, Tom Wills, and Joakim Jägerhult – releases their latest single “Non Stop Fun (All I Wanted)” along with an entertaining throwback of a music video. The song itself has vocal parts reminiscent of 60’s folk/pop stars, the tongue-in-cheek video comprised of scenes of a man’s life that one might find particularly dull – traveling on public transit, getting yelled at at the office, getting a drink in a dark bar – that, when etched together, tell a story most anyone can relate to.

See what happens below!

Looking for a new, irresistible pop track to swoon over for a bit? STF takes smooth dance track to another level with his new track “Lookalike”. The best part? Its disposition completely hides the fact that it is a song that details heartbreak, but the fact that it is so relatable perhaps adds some more zest to the flavor. It’s a pretty fun track, try it on for size!

nick talos, “home to you”

nick talos, “home to you”

Tracks like “Glass House” and “Hey Gorgeous” from Nick Talos have unsurprisingly gained him impressive numbers of both streams and fans. The Berlin based producer has now put out “Home To You,” which features his lilting vocals against an upbeat backdrop.

He is able to write both romantic and dance-ready singles, and this is another example of that. Folk-style flute and guitar patterns sound wonderful aside its dynamic beat, and Nick Talos has clearly drawn on personal experience to create this tune.

It’s available now to stream worldwide – give it a listen below.

Today, post-metal trio Shockpowder – expertly comprised of Joshua Scurfield (guitar/vocals), Alasdair Spence (bass), and Louie Watson (drums) – releases their latest track “Airy”. The track blends their normal grungier sound with a sound that is very much reflective of its title, opening with a lighter, more feel-good sound that then layers in some rougher, heavy-hitting instrumentals. It’s a dichotomy that translates gorgeously, and we’re big, big fans.

ian wayne, “revelation”

ian wayne, “revelation”

Brooklyn-based rock musician Ian Wayne‘s debut album might not be out quite yet – A Place Where Nothing Matters drops November 16th – but his clear creative abilities are showing up all over the place. For example, his new music video for single “Revelation”. Shot and edited by Ian himself – with additional footage by Winston Cook-Wilson – “Revelation” explores mundane activities with Ian in a suit, highlighting the beauty of the streets of Brooklyn in some scenes, and glimpsing other bits of nature in others. As Ian eats a pastry on a chair, a cat lounges lazily behind him. A cap adds some flair to his suit (see: above), but nothing caps the quirky esthetic of an animation that pops into the frame seemingly randomly near the end.

Trust us, it’s a pretty entertaining video. And the track is more than perfect for your next house hangs playlist. Take a gander below!
