It’s nice when you listen to a song it takes you back to a certain place and time. When I hear these songs I think I’ll always remember late nights when I would take time out to myself and try to clear my head. These songs always put my mind at ease because life can get kind of crazy, especially as an artist. Having those moments to just take a breathier brings me to a good space to where I can start writing music again.

Long Island-bred singer/songwriter Evan Petruzzi has a new track out called “Sideshow”, a twang-infused pop song with a pace that will make even the most cynical of humans – especially at the holidays – tap their toes. As we listen to the building instrumentals and Petruzzi’s powerful vocals, we are carried to a place that is forever summer, a sun kissed glow dancing on our cheeks. Get into our headspace – and feel that glorious sunshine – below!

If you’re looking for a cinematic chord progression, bedazzled with ethereal vocals reminiscent of Imogen Heap, then Fleurie‘s new track “Love Has No Limits” is the way to go. Anthemic from just the title of the track, this new single takes its time reaching its angelic crescendo. We’re big, big fans and ready to share this one with the crowd at some upcoming holiday festivities! What about you?

Chicago-based art rock trio Arthhur – comprised of Mike Fox, Matt Cian, and Luke Dahlgren – released their fourth record on December 14th, and we’re really digging it. The 6 track tape is titled Lost In The Walled City, and is packed to the brim with attitude and a certain, unexplainable je ne sais quoi, if you will.
The title track hits hard, revving us up for the disco-laden rhythm of “Kinky Post-It”. (Yes, that’s the name of a song.) “Astral Fortnight” speaks to our higher beings, upbeat and ready to party, while “Choc Electronique” is something we would totally enter a dance contest with, as it would seem a little out of left field though the instrumentals are insanely catchy and could inspire a new line dance, if we’re being honest.
“Large Party” kicks it off with a series of sound effects and continues in the same artsy, experimental way, something we would definitely mosh to at a live show. Arthhur rounds it all out with “Get Fermented!” which is a track we’re into just from the mention of the title. Its smooth, enticing soundscape lures you in to a night of – if you’re lucky – consequence-free bad decision-making.
Keep up with Arthhur here.

Future Swedish pop icon Bellhouse creates an ethereal, lighthearted soundscape with “Coping”, a track that, honestly, isn’t as lighthearted as it comes across as at first listen. Packing in meaningful lyrics aided by the fluidity of her airy vocals, there is unexpected force in some of the lines that hits you right where it needs to. This song absolutely packs a punch, and has us looking to 2019 for more from this spectacular songstress.
Keep up with Bellhouse here.

Monthly Hits has just released the incredible “Need You Tonight” from CCIITTYY and it’s an essential listen if you like emotive electronic sounds. The duo has moved from strength to strength since they first emerged as an act, and the summer saw them release the stunning “Still On My Mind.”
Combining soul-searching vocals with slightly retro synth patterns and brooding beats, CCIITTYY have really honed their pop hybrid signature. As we edge towards 2019, we can expect further musical goodness from this pair throughout the incoming twelve months.
For now, check this out.

The visual of chairs being set up in the round is slightly peculiar to the untrained eye, setting a microphone up while it pendulum swings above a stool, amps being set up. Casey Dubie‘s new video for “Silver” was strikingly shot by Kayhl Cooper, each frame flooded with largely monochromatic tones, giving more dimension to an already lush and beautiful visual that matches its corresponding soundscape. Explains Casey:
I had a blast working with Kayhl on this video. We shot over two days in a few locations in northern Vermont. He is so creative and I’m excited that the video narrates a few of the themes in the song really well. In this video we wanted to depict the different voices we live with that attempt to weigh us down as well as explore who our audience is.
We’re blown away by every aspect of it, and are pleased to have your first look at “Silver” in its entirety below!

With a hard-hitting, percussion-driven entrance, Andrew Weiss and Friends make a splash with new single “Monochrome”. Not only that, but the brand new accompanying music video is quite brilliant, if you ask us. As Weiss’ soothing voice carries you on a very specific, though relatable, lyrical adventure, animated in its entirety by Kyle Monroe. Get yourself in a psychedelic frame of mind and check out the video below!

The seriously talented OIJ is taking centre stage with another new single release. He has had great successes with his Wabi Sabi EP and “Back To The Start” featuring GIA KOKA, and now brings us “Seconds Away From Love.”
It takes a fresh direction to some of his previous tracks, and is given a deep, cinematic energy that seems to claw its way through the speakers. Expansive melodies and steadily progressing electronic washes mean that “Seconds Away From Love” has a meaningful and somewhat haunting quality.
Take a listen to it here.
