Brand new British quartet GRDNS – comprised ofJacob Lyons, Cameron Harrison on bass, Sam Gledhill on guitar, and John Fitzpatrick on drums – just released their debut single “Night Dance”. With a sound that is self-described as “Northern England Psych”, the band oozes obvious psych pop influence. While “Night Dance” is light, the guitar sets a mood perfect for ethereal, crashing cymbals to vibe out to.

Moving forward from a difficult situation is sometimes hard, but Nashville-based, New Jersey born artist Jess Nolan makes the situation easier in her song. In her new song “Mistakes”, Nolan uses her soulful voice to keep her head up and move forward, embracing life as it comes and continuing on.
“Mistakes” is full of a soulful guitar tune and brass tones. The song encourages the listener to continue to walk through life despite what has been thrown their way. Jess Nolan’s song is exactly what the title says it is: “learning to embrace your mistakes.” The song encourages the listener to use his or her trials and tribulations as a platform to move forward. “Mistakes” is the right song to encourage the listener to grow and learn from what they have been through in life.

Skylar Fri has hit the music scene with a single that has caught the attention of fans and the general public worldwide. Not only does the new single, “Gold Rush,” feature some of her most coveted talents, but also lyrics that are repeat worthy. With her unique sounds and beats, Fri brings something different to the table. She is constantly associated with a Lana Del Rey-esque sound combined with some of the latest trends. Another aspect of this track that is sure to send shivers down the spines of fans everywhere, is Fri’s ability to glide over her synth-laced melody with such ease that it seems unreal. Unlike many of the other artist in this genre, her voice brings a vintage feel to a rather new brand of music.
Not only has this artist brought it big when it comes to her music, lyrics and sound, but she also has high expectations and big plans for her career in music. She has most recently been booked to perform on a stage in Copenhagen, Denmark and expects to tour around the world to perform live for all of her fans. Austin based duo, Bronze Whale, who have gained popularity through a variety of originals and remixes, just released their first track of 2018 called “Exposure.” The duo, comprised of Aaron Jaques and Benny Alley, has been feature in Entertainment Weekly and have even had numerous number ones on Hype Machine. Not only does the duo write their own music, they also manage their own label, handle their own artwork, and mix and master each track.
At the end of 2017, Bronze Whale decided to head jack to Colorado with their team to crest a new, fresh sound which focuses less on lyrics and vocals and more on instrumentation. This concept is very apparent in “Exposure” which features a multi-faceted electronic blend, synthesized rhythms, and a looped vocal chop.
The song features Bronze Whale’s signature energetic vibes and variety of electronic pop elements. There’s a growing anticipation throughout “Exposure” as the song continuously build, adding small variations. Once it leaks, the instrumentation dies down a little bit showcasing a flawless transition between dynamics. Fans are bound to be impressed with “Exposure” and Bronze Whale’s versatility and creativity.

The song tells the listener to be open and ready for whatever comes his or her way. “Whenever You Want It” recognizes love with no fear and encourages the listener to go for it and be unapologetic. The song is great, passionate, and full of lots of high energy.

Recently signed Atlantic Records artist MELVV is a producer creating music for everyone to enjoy, proven in his new single “Anything Else”. Beginning with a catchy beat that you can clap your hands and snap your fingers to, MELVV soon joins in the song with his powerful vocals, singing about having a bad day when his loved one breaks up with him. MELVV goes on talking about not wanting anything else but his loved one, admitting he is willing to wait for things to turn out better. We can appreciate the sentiment, and believe in love conquering all, so perhaps we should check back in on the development of this plot line…

Long Island’s Cloud has released a new album following his debut EP Comfort Songs. The latest album, titled Plays With Fire, will be released in March and consists of nine songs, clocking in at 32 minutes in total. Pulling form influences such as Jonathan Richman, Panda Bear, and Leonard Cohen, Cloud is able to captivate the listener throughout his EP.
“Wildfire” is the lead single from the upcoming album. The song is mesmerizing and talks about everyone wanting to be a wildfire. The song is filled with colorful vocals and background music that is sure to take the listener on a joyous occasion.
“Two Hands Bound” is another song from the album. The song is very catchy and filled with percussion, guitar and the vocals of Cloud. The song is about working hard and is one of the lighter tones in the album.

24-year-old New York-based reggae/dancehall/R&B artist Kranium just dropped his brand new single “No Odda” .
Born Kemar Donaldson in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Kranium has an amazing ability to create music on the fly, and “No Odda” is no exception. Ever since his breakout hit “Nobody Has To Know”, Kranium has been dishing out consistent quality content, as well as collaborating with big names, including label mate Ty Dolla $ign.
