The electronic/DJ duo Bronze Whale has recently released a new track titled “Warm.” Bronze Whale is known for their beats and mad DJ skills, but Benny of the duo tackles the vocals on this track. He does a great job too, as the vocals are subtle yet pleasant enough to give the listener the ability to equally pay attention to the beats and Benji’s singing. The title “Warm” is the perfect title for this track. It is a roll your windows down song, a looking at your crush song, an intro to a romantic song. In short, this track really gives off a “feel good vibe” that you just can’t fight.
Also, be sure to catch up with the duo on their website and their Facebook page for their latest music and shows.

Saltwater Sun just graced us after a hiatus with their latest release “The Wire.” “The Wire” is the bands eighth single following up their Flawed EP released in 2016. The vocals are creepily haunting with an alternative rock beat. My favorite lyric is “…I can feel it in the fire, when it’s coming down to the wire.” “The Wire” is an angsty track yet manages to find balance with a “cool rock vibe.” “The Wire” is definitely a track that I believe worth listening to.
Keep up with band here.

Australian producer and house artist Husky dropped his new beat “Can’t Shake It Off.” He’s not alone on the track though. He has help from X-Factor artist Nat Conway and the song already has been remixed Alaia & Gallo and Mark Di Meo.
I’m a big fan of house music or as I like to call it “catwalk music.” What really makes a house track for me, is the tempo whether it be the consistency or inconsistency of the beats, the vocals (if there are any), and the ability to make you feel relaxed or even “oh so fab.” Husky executes all these things with the assistance of Nat Conway’s sweet but sassy vocals. It is a song that will make you want to strut, a song that will make you want to roll your windows down, and a song that I’ve already played three times back-to-back (oops!).
Keep up with Husky here.

The indie-rock duo Flagship showcases their new song “The Ladder.” The North Carolina natives share a gripping message on their pleading track. Listening to “The Ladder” for the first time was very relatable to me. It talks of how as members of a society, we just are expected to climb that ladder. So many of us do, and yet we end up in the same place.
The lyric “I’ve been working overtime,” really resonates with me as a young person, because I try to work as much as possible while balancing school and my personal life, which at times can be rough. The message I ultimately took away is that you can climb your ladder, but go at your own pace…or don’t at all. It’s your life and it’s up to you.

What’s better than an emerging artist dropping their second single, accompanying it with a killer video to beat? Canadian native Francois Klark celebrates his new single with an equally promising video. Directed by Yeah! Films, the video opens to a man sitting on a bench checking his phone and sending a text. We don’t know if this is a friend or ex-lover. The video jumps to him walking into a run then running throughout various places and landscapes, using slow motion at for emphasis on the “run.”
There is a surprising – and almost sad – ending to the video, but find out for yourself below!

pronoun just released her new track “Run”, which brings back all the nostalgia on “Run” with a 90’s pop feel. The track is tipping with angst and for reason as she describes the track as “A ball of frustration. It’s about someone you loved taking the easy way out and running away from the entire life you built together because times temporarily got tough.”

Santa Cruz, CA native Katie Ekin just released her new single “Little Moon”.The song almost feels outer worldly and is definitely worth the listen. Lines like “You breathe softly in my hair…”, I wouldn’t have it any other way”, and my favorite “you got your own little moon where you go, I go too” makes for a warm and comforting track. You’ll want to share it with a special someone or just blast it in a long car ride.

In anticipation of her debut EP, electro pop newcomer Cat Turner just released her single “Waster.” The track is promising with its dark beats and slow vocals. The build up of Cat’s vocals fits seemingly into the melodramatic electronic instrumentals.
Keep an eye out as the Galway native producer-singer release her EP Contrast March 9th. Look for more Cat Turner on CatTurnerOfficial.com.

Max Frost‘s new single “Good Morning” will have you walking to a new drum. The artist had been named one of “10 Artists You Need to Know” by NPR and Rolling Stone with good reason. The track starts off as what sounds to be a gospel song. It soon turns to a hip hop beat but while integrating lyrics like “It’s a brand new day” while cues of gospel background vocals. Sunday morning or not, Frost’s new single will keep you uplifted throughout the entire week.
