Since his debut in his home country, New Zealand, budding artist Matthew Young has been on the rise and has continued to produce music that captivates and entertains his fans throughout the world. Most recently, he released a smooth new addition to his rather extensive musical lexicon entitled, “Fix Me Up”.  Not only does this single have everything that fans have come to expect from such a young talent, but he supersedes expectations with his infections rhythm and repetition. Adding to his credibility, Young has come to be marked as “Lorde-approved.” This is a huge indicator that Young has a place for himself in the music community.

“Fix Me Up” is a radically innovative use of synth loops and warm toned vocals that seem to ebb and flow with the rhythm of the music. With all of this skill and talent, fans have come to look forward to any new releases from this artist and, judging from the news that Young’s team has recently released, they are not going to be disappointed. In fact, this last single is precursor to an EP that is scheduled to drop later this year. Young has proven himself over and over again with his talent and skill that speak for themselves–it is clear that there is no stopping this artist from achieving exactly what he set out to reach.
