Need to forget about your worries? We’ve got just the song for you. Molly Moore has just released her brand new track, “No Stress”, which appears on her upcoming EP, Third Eye High. The L.A. singer-songwriter has worked as a solo artist, a member of Cosmos & Creature, and has written for the likes of Lea Michele, EXO, and Jesse McCartney. Moore’s new track is just as the title suggests: easygoing, stress-free, and laid back. Splashes of electronica on a pop canvas make for a delightfully fun yet relatable track.
Says Moore: “Self reflection can be hard, especially in a time when everyone wants to filter the best part of their story/image forward, but I try and find power in confronting the less comfortable things. Dealing with human emotions isn’t always easy but I do think that we innately want to help each other. I want my music to leave people with hope amidst the ‘reality’ we are faced with.”
Moore does a fantastic job of appealing to the tension that we all face in daily life, providing a temporary escape with “No Stress”.

London based Northern Irish musician Aislinn Logan is back once again with her new single “Spree”, which has a mix of electronic and pop bests with Logan’s emotional vocals. “Spree” focuses on the space within relationships. The song talks about not knowing everything about the one you love even though they are your partner and you are supposed to tell your partner everything. The song really hones in on trying to get inside someone’s space and making them feel comfortable to tell you anything that way you both can endure all your hardships together. The song proves that if you want to accept change, you must begin from the inside.

After traveling from Mallorca to Morocco and then back to the United Kingdom and several placed in between as a child, Julia Sykes, voice of up-and-coming band PLYA, has put together a team that has been pitted for success since the beginning. With all of her foreign and international influences, PLYA (pronounced “Ply-ah” Spanish for “beach”) has a unique sound that not only strengthens their ability to relate to people and cultures from all over the globe, but it also gives them a unique edge unlike anything we have ever experienced up to this point.
Since their start, they have been fine tuning their dream electric pop sound by bringing on highly talented artists such as Kris Taylor (guitar) and William Brown (drums). This trio has the skill and talent to write and produce music that is relateable, infectious and darkly gorgeous. Using a humanistic approach to the electronic music soundscape is not only one Koresma’s highly coveted skills, but it is what sets this electronic music project apart from other artist that produce music within this selfsame genre. Listening to their music has allowed fans to escape to a safe place that is full of inspiration and relaxation—a feat that is priceless in the fast-paced world that we find ourselves in. Recently, Koresma has released “The Overlook (Common Tiger Remix)” which not only fits all of the above criteria that makes his music unique, but it is upbeat and exciting to listen to. With his sound sufficiently developed and fine tuned, project member Ryan Lindberg is preparing to produce and release a series of EP’s that will eventually form a four-part collection entitled, Next Frontier. Each individual EP is associated with one single direction, East, which will be released first and then West, North and South following subsequently.
This new EP was developed under the theme of self-discovery, representing the journey that everyone takes through life which is comprised of twist and turns—a past and future. Drawing inspiration from the road trip that he took which spanned the entire United States, Lindberg skillfully and artistically paints the scenes and landscapes that he quickly fell in love with over the duration of his travels. With so much exciting news and four huge releases in this coming year, there is no doubt that this artist will find success among those who wish to truly escape into his world of lush lyrics and beautiful beats.

Alt-indie newcomers, FEVA, just release their latest single. “Makin’ Waves” is a debut off of the English based band self-titled album FEVA. The song is sure to be an indie-rock classic with focus on guitar, drums and vocals, while maintaining an upbeat feeling. “Don’t feel like you gotta settle down—baby lovin’ ain’t for us all.” “Makin’ Waves” encompasses an important message in the song for people of all ages. The line I specifically mentioned: “Don’t feel like you gotta settle down,” is especially crucial. In today’s world of have a stable career, education, and S.O. (significant other), by the time that you’re thirty is not only stressful—it’s daunting. “Makin’ Waves” really came around full circle for me, making me realize that you have to go out there into the world and make waves…literally. Settling down isn’t an option, so don’t make it one. FEVA sure didn’t.
