Breaking out one of the greatest singles that is promised to get listeners dancing throughout the world is pop artist and producer WNT-AL-N (pronounced Went All In) who has just dropped his latest single, “Leave it on the Floor.” After being influenced by several cultures as a child, this up coming artist has found a way to mesh the sounds of his multi-faceted home experiences into one cohesive sound that is both infections and incredibly innovative. “Leave it on the Floor” is a melting pot that combines elements of Caribbean pop, funk, reggae, hip hop, and even a hint of jazz into a single that is promised to please across the globe. Throughout the single, listeners can enjoy the funky guitar twangs as well as vocals that are as clean as they are enjoyable to listen to. When speaking of his latest release, WNT-AL-N said,
“We all need an outlet from the stresses that society, family, finances, work etc. put on us. Picture a carefree childhood where you’re enjoying life to the fullest and you’re all about being in the moment. Growing up, music was my escape to a place where I could go all in. I think all we need is the ability to tap back into that as an adult. I always want my songs to have substance and tell my story even if it’s a turn-up record.”
Not only does this artist give something for fans to talk about on stage, but his off-stage life is just as impressive. While WNT-AL-N is not creating and producing more music, he often travels between Atlanta and Singapore in order to aid the homeless and victims of human trafficking and abuse through his work with Hanoi-based non-profit organization Blue Dragon. Without a doubt, his future music has promise considering the quality and impressive skill demonstrated in, “Leave it on the Floor,” making him one of the key players in the developing music community.

Canada based COTIS just released his latest single, a track titled “Phone Light Up”. “Phone Light Up” takes a look at relationships in the modern era of technology and how to play by those rules. “We living it up, not playing it safe, I give and I take; give me some space,” COTIS preaches on “Phone Light Up.” COTIS goes further into it on the chorus, stating: “Yet baby tell me what’s come over you, your phone light up.” Aside from the amazing writing, “Phone Light Up” intermingles classic pop with with urban hip-hop and R&B beats. Boston born electronic pop duo Sleeping Lion – comprised of Nate Flaks and Noah Longworth McGuire – released a new track titled “Easy For You”, which follows their previous release “Stop It”. The track is about staying true to you after the end of a relationship. The song is very apologetic, with the singer being sorry for letting their loved one leave so easily rather than fighting for them to stay.
“Easy For You” is a positive song that talks about fighting for your love. “Easy For You” transitions from being apologetic to being understanding. The track is the available to listen to now.

San Diego/L.A. based two-piece Inspired & the Sleep has just dropped a brand new track called “First Time”. Inspired & the Sleep is made up of Max Greenhalgh (producer/singer-songwriter) and musician Bryce Outcault, accompanied by additional artists at times. Having just released a new song, Inspired & the Sleep looks to propel themselves into their musical future with a refined sound.
The band says of their new track:
“First Time” is a song I wrote at the start of a relationship. The song is about the very first time a couple catches themselves opening up to each other. I feel like when you’re alone for an extended period you tend to naturally become guarded just as a way of protecting yourself, but it takes even more strength to get to a point where you can let yourself love again. There are certain events that I recall in my life that have led me to where I am in life. “First Time” recollects an event where my ex got a DUI while I was in the car with her. Even though it was tragic event, it did end up bringing us closer together at the time.
The new track moves the listener across a floating soundscape anchored in a solid beat and highlighted by Greenhalgh’s vocals. Both vulnerable and strong, the track clearly displays the band’s ability to show a gentle side that is also confident. “First Time” is not a track to miss, so check it out today.

Take one listen at Yoshi Flower and he may sound familiar. Yoshi, also known as Josh Smith, is a former member of the duo Gosh Pith. Now Yoshi Flower is breaking out as an emerging solo artist, and just released his latest “Just On Drugs.” “Just On Drugs” has a “So-Cal” vibe which is perfect considering summer is right around the corner. Yoshi Flower, reminds me of Blackbear, however less produced which makes listening to Yoshi easy. “Just On Drugs” combines EDM and pop while Yoshi shows off his rap and vocal skills. “Just On Drugs” has a pretty clear title, but an abrasive meaning. “We’re just on drugs—it’s not love,” states Yoshi Flower. My favorite part about “Just On Drugs” is its truthfulness and “I don’t care” attitude.

“Better With You” is the latest track from independent artist Michl. The L.A. native who has toured with Broods and Tove Love, is joined by Mura Masa on “Better With You.” What you think is going to a normal pop song, “Better With You,” takes you by surprise with its funky beat and when it shifts to feel like an “electronic haze.” The track not only feels celestial with its rhythm, but incorporates lyrics such as “I know heaven is a world away,” and “This hell feels better with you.”

Borderline legendary duo Matt and Kim recently released their latest music video “Forever”, off of their new album Almost Everyday, earlier this year. Mark Hoppus (of Blink-182) joins Matt and Kim on vocals for “Forever.” The video opens with the duo in a warehouse. Set in black and white, you wonder where the video is going as the beat is poppy and energetic. It breaks to Kim taking drums and the two going back and forth dancing with each other.
The video is carefree, simple, and sweet like the song reflecting lyrics “Together we’ll cause a stampede, running through streets- I can dance better in a seat, as you’re making fun of me.” The song and upcoming album Almost Everyday heavily reflect Kim’s recovery after an onstage injury in 2017. The duo seems to be back and it makes me super happy to see Kim dancing in “Forever.”

“Off My Back” is artist’s Thoreau’s latest promising track. To me, the track feels very uplifting and empowering. “Off My Back” is a pop track with hints of an electronic sound. Thoreau is joined by Chloe Tang on vocals. The song starts with lyrics, “I want to meet your family, I want to make you happy- the way you hit me up you only want to feel my body.” This tells the tale of a toxic relationship that is not worth pursuing anymore with the lyric “shut the f**k up, I know that I’ve got some problems, but you are the one who messed up- I can’t wait to get you off my back.” This song is an easy listen as it is relatable in the “I only want you when I know I messed up” theme. With its infectious beat and relatable message, Thoreau’s “Off My Back” makes for a summer hit.
