Payson Lewis just released the video for his latest single “When Love Was Young”. The video opens up to beach with a beautiful sunset, then cuts to Payson singing and playing piano in the living room. We then see Payson walking on the beach with a girl holding hands. “So you go go go back, when you love somebody— you let them get away, get away, but what’s done is never done,” sings Payson on “the one that got away.”
The video is touching, with the scenes of the beach and a happy couple reunited. The video for “When Love Was Young” is an acoustic version which gives us a glimpse at Payson Lewis’ talents which include his amazing and bone-chilling vocals and his ability to beautifully handle a piano. The video to “When Love Was Young” had me tearing up and I hope you find it equally as sweet!

Rachael Cantu just released her refreshing video for the latest track “You’re the Most.” The video opens in a kitchen with a girl sitting in her kitchen pondering life. The scene then cuts to the sink where we see roses and a pink cake batter being mixed (baking a cake for a lover is my suspect). Cut to an adorable girl in pink, smiling while walking down the street. Then the cutest thing happens. Both parties meet in front of a rose bush. Sometimes staring at each other, sometimes hugging. This video is a very candid depiction of what it means to “start falling in love with someone.” There are always conflicting feelings of that point when one starts being vulnerable with someone which is why the lyrics state “I’m a loner, that I’ll own it–you’re the most I’ve ever wanted.”

Maryland-based Gallant is back and better than ever with the release of new single, “Gentleman”, along with accompanying music video for the track. As evidenced when he was was nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 2016 Grammys, Gallant has what it takes to make it big as an R&B artist. A visually stunning video directed by Sasha Samsonova, “Gentleman” also showcases Gallant’s exceptional vocals. Slow motion, aqua lighting, and a shirtless Gallant makes for a minimalistic yet superb video. A seductive and irresistible song, Gallant brings listeners into the track with his falsetto and velvety vocals. The video seals the deal on this slinky track.
Since the release of his 2015 debut Ology, Gallant clearly has come into his own, and continues to impress listeners with his incredible talent, and we can’t wait to see what he puts out next.

The pop-folk singer/songwriter Carla Stark just released her latest single “Once a Cheater”, which takes a sinister look at a lover who has been promiscuous. The song is addicting, charming, and will have you grinning from ear-to-ear. My favorite lines include “You were too old for me, and too good looking,” “You can cheat on me and you can cheat on others—but you’ll never cheat your death,” and “And you may think your skin is the best leather, but my knife go through flesh.” From those lines alone, you can see that Carla has a gift for writing cunning and quick lyrics. Not only is she a great songwriter, Carla’s syrupy sweet voice shines on “Once a Cheater.”

Moving into the limelight after releasing her debut album is 90’s inspired band Soccer Mommy with the newest music video for one of her most popular tracks, “Cool”. Opening with a scene set in the middle of what appears to be a high school soccer field, the music video immediately envelops and intrigues the watcher to continue watching. From the beginning, the bright, crisp colors juxtapose the relaxed vibe of the track. Not only does this highlight the song’s unique sound, but also creates a clever visual spectacle that definitely shows signs of 90’s influences. Not only do the colors enhance the viewing experience, but the animations, created by Art Baby Girl, are clever and perfectly match the atmosphere of the music.
Soccer Mommy definitely has a bright future within her own sphere of cool, collected artistry that she have built for herself. Although she has hit a home run since the release of the full-length album, she has continued to chase after what seemed like such an elusive dream. This same principle is manifest in the quality of her music video, which is absolutely stunning. With the fire burning bright, there is no question that there is solid potential moving forward for Soccer Mommy.

Manchester-bred Bipolar Sunshine (irl Adio Marchant) is back at it again with another amazing single. Having released hit tracks like “Whole Heart”,“Major Love” and appearing on “Middle” with DJ Snake in 2017, Bipolar Sunshine is now blessing his fans with a brand new release: “Pressure”. The single is the first of his highly anticipated 2018 EP, Imaginarium. Not only has he dropped the new single, but a spectacular music video as well.
Marchant used to sing for ska band Kid British before heading out on his solo career in 2013. Now based in Los Angeles, he continues to put out quality music, delighting both devoted fans and new listeners alike. The video, directed by Matilda Finn, is fresh, modern, and extremely aesthetically pleasing. Marchant “wanted the audience to feel like they’re watching a movie. Some Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz in the movie Blow kinda feels.” and he definitely achieved this goal; the “Pressure” video is Hollywood through and through. “Pressure” is not your typical love song; it combines angst, desire, purity, and confusion within a few minutes of music. If you haven’t checked out Bipolar Sunshine before, do it today.

What’s better than an emerging artist dropping their second single, accompanying it with a killer video to beat? Canadian native Francois Klark celebrates his new single with an equally promising video. Directed by Yeah! Films, the video opens to a man sitting on a bench checking his phone and sending a text. We don’t know if this is a friend or ex-lover. The video jumps to him walking into a run then running throughout various places and landscapes, using slow motion at for emphasis on the “run.”
There is a surprising – and almost sad – ending to the video, but find out for yourself below!
