What’s better than an emerging artist dropping their second single, accompanying it with a killer video to beat? Canadian native Francois Klark celebrates his new single with an equally promising video. Directed by Yeah! Films, the video opens to a man sitting on a bench checking his phone and sending a text. We don’t know if this is a friend or ex-lover. The video jumps to him walking into a run then running throughout various places and landscapes, using slow motion at for emphasis on the “run.”

the winter sounds marries more than mannequins and music

Lead singer and songwriter of The Winter Sounds, Patrick Keenan has brought new and electrifying tracks to the music scene unlike anything that listeners and fans have ever experienced. Not only are his productions unique and completely particular to his style, but they also induce an atmosphere full of perceptual magic tricks and danceable synth draped seconds. “Earth After a Thunderstorm” captures more than just beats and rhythms strung together. matthew de ver, “the gift & the wound”

matthew de ver, “the gift & the wound”

Hailing from Madison, Wisconsin, Matthew De Ver has dropped his debut single, “The Gift & the Wound”. It is evident that talent runs in his family; Matthew is the son of poet and author Shel Silverstein. As is shown through his music, Matthew utilizes song to express a variety of emotions through layered symbolism and mellow tunes. “The Gift & the Wound” will appear on Matthew’s upcoming album, Surface Tension (A Tincture for Integrating Shadow). If the title of his forthcoming record is any indication, Matthew puts meticulous detail into the creation of his music, especially this album, which encapsulates the years of his life surrounding the passing of his father, specifically, his teenage years. “The Gift & the Wound” is a culmination of the artistry that has resulted from this time. Anyone who has an appreciation for attention to detail will take a lot from this track.

Matthew has also released a slightly trippy and highly symbolic music video for “The Gift & the Wound”.

Though Mr. Hudson’s “Coldplay” premiered back in December, he’s back again with the premiere of the video featuring Vic Mensa. “Coldplay” is a song about the moment you are going to give up on someone but you change your mind and you don’t.  The purpose of the song is to keep working with the person even though walking away is simple.

The video depicts Mr. Hudson at a bar serving up drinks to Vic Mensa who is drinking to numb the pain of whether he wants to walk away or not.  The video displays the emotions from the song perfectly. retro release “rearview” is review ready

retro release “rearview” is review ready

Matt Woods’ new release “Rearview” is pumped full of retro vibes that is sure to get those hips swinging and toes tapping all over the globe. This new artist has spent countless hours preparing his new single that pays tribute to smooth dreamy pop. Not only has time been spent working on the vocal side of this new release, but the team has also put together their first official video that matches the tone and feel of the song without a single hiccup. It features arcade game inspired graphics that is not only appealing to the eye, but also has significant personal value to Woods himself. Growing up, Wood spent hours in arcades owned by his father and while writing “Rearview,” the sounds reminded him of his childhood and he decided to pay homage to this memory by making it the theme of his very first video.

This song is also the first to be lifted from Woods’ forthcoming EP, the tentatively titled “Fauxstalgia.” Wood wrote this song in order to come to terms with his firsthand experience with not being able to be with a person that he loves. The message, however, is that is acceptable to not completely move on, but to still hold a piece of those feelings forever. This exciting new release will have the fans and critics around the world raving. Matt Woods plans to hit all of the major cities in Europe within the coming weeks to spread his talent abroad.
