The visual of chairs being set up in the round is slightly peculiar to the untrained eye, setting a microphone up while it pendulum swings above a stool, amps being set up. Casey Dubie‘s new video for “Silver” was strikingly shot by Kayhl Cooper, each frame flooded with largely monochromatic tones, giving more dimension to an already lush and beautiful visual that matches its corresponding soundscape. Explains Casey:
I had a blast working with Kayhl on this video. We shot over two days in a few locations in northern Vermont. He is so creative and I’m excited that the video narrates a few of the themes in the song really well. In this video we wanted to depict the different voices we live with that attempt to weigh us down as well as explore who our audience is.
We’re blown away by every aspect of it, and are pleased to have your first look at “Silver” in its entirety below!

The holiday season is officially upon us, and we’re celebrating with not just one premiere, but a DOUBLE PREMIERE with our friends Phil and the Osophers. With the wintertime release of Another Merry Christmas with Phil and the Osophers, here are the quirky and beautifully illustrated new lyric videos for both “The Smell Of A Christmas Tree” and “Playing Santa”. In both, each member of the act is depicted playing their respective instruments. The former is a meandering treasure, while “Playing Santa” recalls the magical feeling of wrapping gifts and the wonderful reality of impending happiness under the glow of the tree.
Take some time to enjoy them both below! And perhaps add them to your upcoming holiday playlist to listen to while you roast chestnuts or wind down after a few hours in the snow.

In the midst of celebrating the release of their record Dur et Doux, French collective Saint Sadrill – composed of Antoine Mermet (voice, composition), Melissa Acchiardi (vibraphone, percussion), Lionel Aubernon (drums, electronics) , Lucas Hercberg (bass), Anne Quillier (keyboards, synth), and Vincent Redoux (guitar) – has unleashed a video for their gorgeously composed track “”. Filmed in the barn they recorded the album in, this live performance at Studio Rouge also marked the last of their tour, ending this round where these songs officially began. Just knowing that enhances this premiere – and its entrancing visual – in a way we didn’t see coming.

Americana act Divining Rod – currently comprised of Miyuki Furtado, Patrick Harmon, Mike Malone, John Malone, and Eric Kaye – releases a beautifully shot live performance music video for their luscious track “The Silver Ship” today. We’re lucky enough to be hosting the exclusive premiere, and we’re doing so in stride while dancing around the (newly decorated) Christmas tree post-Thanksgiving festivities with the family! Says Miyuki of the video:
We shot it with our collaborator, Craig Sachs, in one night at our friend’s painting studio and edited it ourselves. We had done another video there but wanted a totally new feel. After a while I came up with this idea to film it pretty much in the dark. I wanted to use negative space to give it space and depth, The darkness came in handy considering we shot it for practically no money. We wanted to do a live performance because the way the band plays the song live is a different entity from it’s recorded version. Plus we totally suck at lip synching.
This song – and its accompanying video – are perfect for your family get togethers. So turn it on, and turn it up for all to enjoy!

We can’t wait until tomorrow. Tomorrow is Friday, it’s the last day of the work week – except for some of us, who never have a day off, of course – and Irish newcomer Rory Gillanders is releasing his new track “Waiting” along with its music video. Luckily enough, Imperfect Fifth fans don’t have to wait, as we’ve got the exclusive premiere of that music video right here for you to feast your eyes on, a day early!
“Waiting” displays Rory’s acoustic live performance style, with shots of him performing alone outside are interwoven with scenes of a love story between two young people, and the feelings of loss after that relationship ends is also witnessed. It perfectly depicts the bittersweet nostalgia of the memory of a great love. The video is gorgeously presented, heartbreaking and yet full of hope.

A visual masterpiece, Stefano Zeni is releasing the new music video for his track “Orange Clouds On The Horizon”, and we’ve got the exclusive premiere. The visual showcases the artist himself playing in beautiful places, surrounded at times by gorgeous landscapes, intricate architecture, and street art. The song plays off of the idea that a hectic day can be made more relaxing when the sun begins to set and that light marks closing in on a new day and a new chance at everything, and the tempo changes and patterns in the track mirror those feelings. “Orange Clouds On The Horizon” does its due diligence in presenting the instrumentals in the way they seem to have been written to be presented. After all, what better than to pair a gorgeous soundscape with matching features in the world?

Alternative indie rock music project The March Divide – from brainchild Jared Putnam – has a million tour dates ahead of him, but that didn’t stop him from releasing the brand new animated music video for the single “To All My Friends”. The song itself feels like a feel-good 90s indie pop track-meets-alt-rock/pop track from the oughts, and the visuals are brilliant and eye opening, to say the least. Explains Jared of the work:
I reached out to director and animator, Harold Loeffler-Bell, to do some videos for songs from my new album ‘Anticipation Pops.’ Harry really has a way of communicating the songs, in a simple and completely accurate way. Being shielded, while everything is falling down around you, perfectly explains the attitude and emotion of the trilogy of animated videos he created for the songs ‘I Don’t Care,’ ‘Overexposure,’ and now, ‘To All My Friends.’ Sometimes we need some help from our friends, to make it through.

Tel Aviv-based indie folk collective theAngelcy – comprised of Maya Lee Roman, Maayan Zimry, Uri Marom, Rotem Bar Or, and Udi Naor – is a jam band if ever we saw one. This is further proven in the brand new music video for their track “Mona Lisa (the song)”. Filled to the brim with a modern take on that 90s nostalgia – we can’t necessarily help it that fashion is going back in that direction now, but we CAN help an all-white background and group dancing – “Mona Lisa (the song)” will inspire you to move this weekend, and we’ve got the exclusive premiere.
