What a month! So far, we’ve experience all four seasons in the midwest, there was a blue wave in the election, and there are literally thousands of new tracks that we haven’t had a chance to peep yet. But we have gotten our hands on some very attractive new songs, so we’ve created a November 2018 playlist for everyone to enjoy. Check back throughout the month, as we add new selections daily!
The weather has cooled off, the colors of the foliage are gaining warmth, and we can’t honestly decide if we’re more in “sweater weather” mode or “spooky.” So, we gathered our favorite music videos released during the first half of October, and we’re kind of leaving room for you to decide! Unsettling noise, and then the introduction of the artist’s whispery, light as a feather vocals over contrasting instrumentals mark the beginning of Cream with a K‘s “Terrible Voices”. While the song itself seems to touch on mental health to some capacity – whether the “terrible voices” in her head are symptoms of issues, whether she struggles with anxiety, or whether she is letting peoples’ actual thoughts rotate throughout the day – it’s also eery in its disposition, and perhaps the perfect autumn start for us all.
