“Rocket to the Kremlin” is a song about an American spy who is excited, confused and lonely about their new life. The purpose of the song is evident through its sound. The song’s tempo is a little disheveled, showing what the spy is feeling.

The song is creative, vibrant, and full of different emotions. After this release,Jane Church is clearly the band to be on the lookout for this year.

Harley Alexander-Sule, otherwise known as his stage name Jimi Charles Moody is taking the world by storm with his new EP Highbury. Branching off from the duo Rizzle Kicks, Jimi Charles Moody only plans to go up in the music industry, especially after an EP like Highbury. Highbury consists of four songs jam packed with R&B music. After listening to the EP, four songs are simply not enough.

One of the hidden gems on the album is Shame. Shame is filled with raw vocals and a great sound. The song is about not regretting love. Shame is hands down a great song to start Jimi Charles Moody’s solo career. Each song on the EP has a different sound to it. Happy Song is a song that will instantly make you want to get up and snap your fingers while Prolong the Pain and Only You will automatically make even your heart shed a tear. The entire album is perfection in its own right due to each song being different in its own way.

Hailing from Kansas City, Missouri, Such Luck is a pop punk group formed by members Ethan Campbell and Colt Coan after they left their previous band. They were later joined by Trey Juarez and Lyle Simon both from For the Team and Cody Miller from Embrace This Day. The band went on to release their debut single “Don’t Come Back” and from there, they plan on going up.

Such Luck gets Probably Happy with their new EP available March 16th. Probably happy is their debut EP to the public. Such Luck debut consists of five songs that display the bands true sound. “Wrong” is a personal favorite from the EP. The song sets the tone for the band, is raw and shows what the band is really about. Each song on the album brings its own flavor and stands out for different aspects.

With five songs to really kick up the panache, Probably Happy will definitely leave you wanting more by the time it is finished. The EP gives a glimpse into Suck Luck, making you eager for more music in the future.

Deanna Devore opted in 2006 to go to Chicago and pursue her musical dreams., finding a gig everywhere until 2007 when she released her first EP, on which she played every instrument. With her unique sound built on a blend of different genres, Deanna Devore went on to release a second EP titled X Number of Days. This time, Devore Is back with a song from her new album titled “A Cause”.

“A Cause” is a true depiction of Deanna Devore as an artist. The song is a dark track with Devore’s powerful vocals making you feel every ounce of her emotions. The song is well worth the listen from the moment you press play. “A Cause” is so powerful you won’t take it off repeat.

Roaming Herds Of Buffalo consists of William Cremin, Jared Fiechtner, Neal Flaherty, Scott Roots and Joe Shultz. Together the band makes dark music that makes you feel something, intensely. The band released a new album titled The Bugbears, an work that is thoughtful but takes you on a dark journey at the same time.

The album consists of 7 songs that can be classified as indie pop with a bit of rock. One of the songs from the album is called “Night Owl”, and it is a song that you can get up and dance to. The song takes a different tone from the rest of the album which is dark. “Winter Sun” sets the tone with its beat. The song has a rock vibe to it with a bit of a surf sound.

Recently, Bergen-based folk artist Stíne Norse released four track stunner The Whale. Stine Norse’s vocals leave their mark on each track, soft and full, taking the listener into a trance, mesmerized with each new tune. If we’re being honest, the entire album is a delight to listen to. One of the songs on the album is titled “Blue Ridge”. “Blue Ridge” is a song about traveling but not knowing where to go. The singer is singing going places but not wanting to go to the direct route she wants to go.

A personal favorite from the album is “Don’t Fall” which takes your heart in mind. The song teaches you to love yourself first before you love anyone else. The other songs from the EP are titled “November 9th” and “Glittering Gold on Boundary Road”. Four songs are simply not enough from Stine Norse. The EP is well worth the listen and will leave you desiring more from her.

The Never Betters drop their first LP titled Guns + Roses’ Roses on March 16th. From the LP is the lead single “Pictures”, for which they have just released a music video. The video “Pictures” focuses on the things that we as people go through in life and how it is different for everyone. When watching the video you see different portrayals of friendship, heartbreak, and the poor choices we make in life. The visuals for the video are very inspiring. Watching the video will help you be able to imagine your own life experiences.

“Pictures” is a mixture of rock and pop. The vocals soar through the track, making the song powerful with its message of memories. “Pictures” is a great lead single that offers what the Never Betters are truly about.
