Slow and steady, MAY plays with dissonance in a clear and beautiful way with new track “Baby Save Me Tonight”. A lead up to her upcoming EP, which is born from her musical stylings developed and performed in and around Brooklyn. Her raspy, robust vocals are an aspect of note, lining her up in a category with songstresses such as Lana Del Rey and Amy Winehouse. Admits MAY of the track:

There is a beautifully devout sense of longing in Baby Save Me Tonight, met with an honest, but tongue-in-cheek kind of cynicism. For me it is cathartic and sentimental to perform in many ways and I love how it feels like conversations I had whilst writing it in the heart of Montreal in the fall last year.

Keep up with MAY here.
